Afgelopen woensdag zijn we naar Munnikenland bij Slot Loevestein geweest. Die foto's komen later.
Donderdag liep het gebied onder water door hoog water.

Konikpaard Munnikenland
Op mijn laptop had ik nog een map met foto's van hetzelfde gebied toen het hoog water was van enkele jaren geleden in januari. Het weer was toen erg donker. Door omstandigheden blijft er soms een map met foto's staan op mijn laptop.

High water does create quite a bit of flooding. It must be difficult for the farm animals that endure it. I love the first photo, although I feel sorry for the poor animal.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenI enjoyed seeing all the animal photos and beautiful landscape before the flooding.The photos show just how high the water rose. I'm sure the farm animals were kept in the barn or they would not have had any grass to eat. Nature can be cruel and even disasterous.at times.
